Two more random photos I took at LAke Billage Chinook

Friday, May 25, 2012

These are the first two multi exposure photos that I have printed. I like the mask because you can see the rain drops in the pond behind it.
This is my last landscape photo, it was taken at lake Billage Chinook

This is my face scan project. We used scanners as cameras and rolled our faces across the screen in order to take them in this messed up image. I like the way they came out, especially the hand one.

These are my pictures for the infrared project. I tried to find photos that were greener in order to get the full effect of the change. It surprised me that the pink flowers turned green when I changed the photos.

These are my first four landscape photos. My favorite one is the one with the fence in it.

This self portrait didn't come out how i wanted it to, but I like the lighting so I printed it anyways. It was supposed to have the corners of a box around it but it didn't work.

After taking another self portrait I had some duct tape left over so I stuck it to my face. I like this photo because you cant tell what exactly is on my face and it makes you wonder why.

This was one of the final pictures on my self portrait roll and I did this on an impulse. I saw the door and just decided to take a picture of it.

This is the first self portrait photo that I did. My teacher said to be creative so I stuck some bananas on my head and took a picture

These photos are a few extra ones that I took on my portrait roll. They are of a few friends of mine after a track meet. they wanted to get portraits taken so I told them to pose and this is what happened.

This is the contact sheet for my self portrait project. I think it is my best role yet because all of the pictures came out and look somewhat reasonable.

These are the other four tilt shift photos that I will be putting on the blog for this project. They are of my backyard, a random street and at my church. My favorite one is the pool because I believe that it was the most effective use of the tilt shift technique.

This is another picture of my mother for the portrait project.  This is one of the only ones I took when she was smiling.
This is my cover page for my portrait project. It is of my Mother. I had to use two small sheets instead of one big one.

This photo is my second portrait and it came out really blurry. I think this is because i did not focus it correctly and i hope not to make this mistake again.
This is my first attempt at a tilt shift photo. I took it during a two hour delay because of the snow. It kinda worked but i think it would have been better if I had taken farther away.
This is the first picture I have uploaded in the portrait project. It is of my mom holding up the spaghetti that she was making for dinner that night. She is in the pantry.

This is a photo of lockers in sophomore hall. The blur gives it a creepy look that I like. The fact that you can't quite tell what it is at first is what I think makes this a good photo.
This is the clock in my high schools training room. I like this picture because the numbers on the clock face are backwards. This kinda made me take a double take at this photo and I had to think about why this happened.
This is a photo of one of my friends. She is sitting here after track practice in the athletic hall. If I were to retake this photo than I would have set the camera on the floor so it wasn't so blurry.
This picture is of the roof of sophomore hall in my high school. I think it is a great picture because i have walked under this hundreds of times, but never noticed it until I started looking around for photos. I don't know were the marks on the photo came from; my suspicion is that they formed in printing.

This a picture of my dog luke from my first roll of film. It was one of the few photos that turned out because my camera had a leak in it. That has been fixed and hopefully will cause no more problems in the future.

This is my alphabet project for photo 1. I took the pictures around my yard and a local play structure. I think that my favorite picture is the s because of the way it looks with the background. I wrote out be awesome because i like the phrase, and its kinda awesome.

This is another pinhole picture that I took in the south parking lot of Tuhs. I removed the tape for around 9 seconds and am not pleased with how dark it came out. If I were to redo this photo I would only expose it for about 6 seconds. The darkness kinda gives it a ghostly feeling that I think gives it character also. I cant decide if I like this photo or not.

The positive of the bus photo surprised me and it looks really cool. I am pleased with this and like the old-timeish look that it has. The posts give you a reference for distance, and I think that is one reason I like it so much more than the negative.
This is the first picture that I uploaded to my blog. It is a pinhole negative and the exposure time was around 12 seconds. It was taken by the Tuhs child services room, and I like it because it seems, to me, that the person is off in the distance looking at the horse. It surprised me that this photo came out in this curved form, but I think it adds something to it.
This is the positive for the negative pinhole picture above. I was surprised that when I inverted it, it became so different. I prefer this photo over the negative because it makes the horse pop out and the person blend more into the background. I don't know why but I think this photo is really cool.
